Vermicelli Uppuma
Ingredients
- Vermicelli - 100gm
- Black gram - ½ tsp
- Bengal gram - ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 2
- Cashew nut - 15 gm
- Carry leaves - 1 spring
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 5 tsp
Method
- Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, chopped silted green chillies, black gram, Bengal gram and curry leaves season it.
- Add vermicelli and fry till golden colour.
- Add 2 cups of water and salt simmer it.
- Stir continuously cook in slow fire.
- Add fried cashew nuts and mix well.
- Remove from fire serve hot.
