Rice Adai

Ingredients

  1. Rice sooji (Rava)                                               - 4 cups
  2. Black gram dhal                                                 - 1 cup
  3. Thattai payaru (Cowgram)                           - 1 cup
  4. Green chillies                                                     - 10
  5. Ginger                                                                  - 1 small piece
  6. Coriander leaves                                              - 2 tsp (Chopped)
  7. Salt                                                                         - to taste
  8. Oil                                                                           - for frying
  9. Curd                                                                      - 3 cups

Method

  1. Soak rice sooji in cure one night before.
  2. Grind black gram, green chillies, ginger mix with soaked rice sooji.
  3. Then add salt, coriander leaves, cooked cowgram mix well.
  4. Make the small adais heat the tawa and fry both sides with the help of oil.
  5. Fry till golden brown.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Note
If required add sliced coconut also in a batter.
