Idly Podi

Ingredients

  1. Black gram dhal                                                 - ½ cup
  2. Bengal gram dhal                                             - ½ cup
  3. Red chillies                                                          - 8
  4. Asafoetida                                                          - a pinch
  5. Salt                                                                         - to taste

Method

  1. Heat the kadai (Dry Kadai), put the black gram dhal, Bengal gram dhal and red chillies fry well.
  2. Grind it and mix makes a mix.
  3. Add asafoetida and salt mix well.

Note
If required add curry leaves and fry and add.
