Aval Uppuma

Ingredients

  1. Aval (Rice flakes)                                              - 200 gm
  2. Mustard seeds                                                  - 1 tsp
  3. Pepper                                                                 - ½ tsp
  4. Black gram dhal                                                 - 1 tsp
  5. Salt                                                                         - to taste
  6. Oil                                                                           - 50 gm

Method

  1. Soak rice flakes / Aval at least ½ an hour.
  2. Heat oil in Kadai adds mustard seeds, pepper, salt and black gram dhal season it.
  3. Add soaked and drained Rice flakes / Aval.
  4. It required add curry leave for seasoning.
  5. Add fried cashew nuts and mix well.
  6. Remove from the fire serve hot.
