Nutritious Wheat Vermicelli

Ingredients

  1. Wheat                                                  - 200 gm
  2. Green grain                                        - 100 gm
  3. Pannier pieces                                  - 100 gm
  4. Onion                                                    - 2
  5. Green chillies                                     - 2 (silted)
  6. Tomato                                                - 1
  7. Garam masala powder                  - 1 tsp
  8. Ajinomotto                                         - a pinch
  9. Salt                                                         - to taste
  10. Curry leaves                                       - as required
  11. Coriander leaves                              - as required
  12. Gingili oil                                              - 100 ml
  13. Cloves, cinnamon bay leaves      - a small
  14. Coconut (Grated)                            - ½ cup
  15. Lemon                                                  - 1
  16. Cucumber                                           - 1
  17. Chilly powder                                    - 1 tsp

Method

  1. Soak wheat allow to grow one day (Mulaikattu).
  2. Then add salted water (Sprinkle over) and bake.  Like idly bake green gram 3/4th strain well.
  3. Heat oil in kadai and add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf.  Add vermicelli, green gram backed, slited green chillies chilly powder, garam masala powder, ajinomotto, salt and coconut.
  4. Fry pannier pieces in oil separately.
  5. Add the fried pannier in to a mixer.
  6. Add lime juice, coriander leaves, mix well.
  7. Garnish with sliced tomato and cucumber.
  8. It is one well protisious and tasty dish.
