Dosai

 Ingredients

  1. Idly rice                                                - 100 gm
  2. Raw rice (Pachai Arisi)    - 100 gm
  3. Black gram                          - 50 gm
  4. Fenugreek                          - 1tsp
  5. Salt                                         - 1tsp
  6. Oil                                           - 1tsp

Method

  1. Soak the Idly Rice, Raw Rice and Black gram at least 3 hours.
  2. Grind finely and add salt.
  3. Allow to ferment for 6-8 hours in larger container.  There should be enough space for the batter to rise.
  4. Mix well and dilute the dough if necessary with water.
  5. Heat Dosai Tawa, apply the oil and pour the batter spread well.
  6. Till cooked turn the other side cook well and remove from tawa.
  7. Serve with Chutney or Sambar.
