Appam

Ingredients

  1. Idly rice                                                - 200 gm
  2. Black gram                                          - 2 tsp
  3. Fenugreek                                          - ¼ tsp
  4. Salt                                                         - to taste
  5. Oil                                                           - 100 ml
  6. Baking soda                                        - ¼ tsp
  7. Coconut milk                                      - 1 cup

Method

  1. Soak Rice fenugreek and black gram, at least 3 hours.
  2. Grind to thick smooth paste.  Add salt at the end of grinding.
  3. Allow to proof the batter rises.
  4. Then add coconut milk, baking soda mix well.
  5. Pour one round spoon of batter in to Appam Kadai cook well one side and remove.
