Ingredients

  1. Rice                                                      -100 gm
  2. Bengal gram dhal                             - 30 gm
  3. Thoor dhal / Red gram                    - 30 gm
  4. Black gram dhal                                - 20gm
  5. Onion                                                  - 2
  6. Red Chillies                                       - 4
  7. Asafoetida                                          - a pinch
  8. Salt                                                      - to taste
  9. Curry leaves                                       - 1 spring
  10. Oil                                                        - 100ml

Method

  1. Clean, soak the dhal, rice, soak at least 2 hours.
  2. Add salt red chillies, asafoetida, grind dhal and rice together.
  3. Heat tawa pour the better (or) press in round.
  4. Put hole in center pour a spoon of oil.
  5. Turn other side and cook well.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with avial.
